The US Attorney General declared that Maduro and his wife face allegations in a New York court, encompassing conspiracy related to drug terrorism, cocaine importation, and firearms violations. "They will shortly face the full force of US law on American soil," the statement read. It finished by praising the president for seeking accountability and thanking the brave military for a highly effective operation.
"The Venezuelan leader is NOT the President of Venezuela... Maduro is the head of a narco-terror organization... and he is facing charges for flooding narcotics into the United States," said the top US diplomat.
